Security and access

Is it safe to give access to my OLX account?

You sign in on the official OLX page: the password is typed on the OLX site, and we neither see nor store it. OLX issues us a technical access key, which we keep encrypted.

You can revoke that access at any time: in our dashboard or in your OLX security settings.

Who can see my conversations with buyers?

To compose a reply, the text of the conversation is sent to the Google Gemini language model. Our operators also have access, solely for technical support and investigating faults.

We do not sell data, do not show it to other users and do not use it for advertising. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.

Can two people share one account?

No. One account belongs to one person or one business. We record sign-in addresses and devices; where we see signs that access is being passed around we may suspend the account: section 1 of the Rules.

If you need several OLX accounts, the plans provide for that: up to 50 on Business.

How the bot works

What if the bot tells a buyer something untrue?

It is built not to: it answers only from what is in your listings and settings. When it has no answer it stays quiet and hands the conversation to you.

No guarantee of being error-free exists and we do not give one. That is why confirmation mode is there: the bot prepares the draft and you send it.

Will the buyer realise it is a bot?

The bot writes in your name, in ordinary words and short sentences, the way a person writes. It does not talk about itself and does not explain how your reply is produced.

What gives an auto-reply away is usually not its style but the facts it makes up. So the bot states only what is written in your listings and settings, and when it has no answer it stays quiet and hands the conversation to you.

Will the bot haggle on my behalf?

No. A discount, a swap or a top-up payment stay your decisions. When a buyer raises one, the bot hands the conversation to you.

What language does the bot reply in?

The one the buyer wrote in. Written in Ukrainian, it answers in Ukrainian; written in Russian, it answers in Russian. It does not change language mid-conversation.

What if I answer in the chat myself?

Your reply takes priority. The bot sees what you wrote and does not repeat you. And once a conversation has been handed to you, the bot stays out of it.

Plans and payment

What happens when the reply limit runs out?

The bot stops sending and tells you in Telegram. Buyer messages are not lost: as soon as the limit resets on the first of the month, or you move to a larger plan, the bot works through them.

Do reminders use up the limit?

Yes. Any message that goes to a buyer takes one reply off the limit.

I have three OLX accounts. Is the limit multiplied by three?

No, the limit is shared across the whole account. Three OLX accounts on Pro give 250 replies a month between them, not 750.

Can I get a refund?

If you are an individual you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. We refund in proportion to the days not used: section 5 of the Terms.

If the service was unavailable through our fault for more than a day, we extend the paid period by the downtime.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes, no card is needed: 10 replies a month, one listing, one OLX account. But we do not promise those terms last forever. If we change them, we give 14 days' notice.

Data and closing your account

How do I delete my account and my data?

In the dashboard: Settings, then Your data. The same place lets you download a copy of everything in one file. Or write to us on Telegram @vidkovsupport_bot and we will answer within 30 days.

How long are conversations kept?

12 months from the last message in the chat. After that it is deleted automatically. The other retention periods are in the Privacy Policy.

What happens if OLX closes access to its API?

Then the features that depend on it stop working. We tell you and refund the paid but unused period: section 8 of the Rules.
